Seminar “Interdisciplinarity at the University of Sarajevo” Held
A seminar , organized within the Erasmus+ Re@WBC project Enhancement of HE research potential contributing to further growth of the WB region in which the University of Sarajevo participates, Interdisciplinarity at the University of Sarajevo was held on 5 October 2018 in the UNSA Rectorate.
Welcome address was delivered by Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović, Vice-Rector for Research at the University of Sarajevo. Vice-Rector Husremović presented the activities that are currently in the phase of implementation at the University of Sarajevo, with the aim of supporting the work and advancement of researchers, and evaluating the mobility of teachers and researchers, both geographical and inter-and trans-disciplined mobility.
The seminar was intended for assistants, senior assistants and docents, as well as collaborators of the University of Sarajevo. On this occasion, trends in interdisciplinarity in terms of scientific production in the world and at the University of Sarajevo were presented. The participants had the opportunity to hear information about the activities of the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Sarajevo, and some examples of cooperation between the organizational units of the University of Sarajevo on the organization and implementation of interdisciplinary study programs and research projects were presented.
The Re@WBC project lasts until November 2018, and the project coordinator (Grant Holder) is the University of Niš. Partners in the project are: Universities of Kragujevac, Novi Sad, Belgrade, Center for Science Promotion (Belgrade), University of Tirana, University of Vlora, University of Sarajevo, University of East Sarajevo, University of Montenegro, Polytechnic University of Turin, University of Leu, University of Coventry.
