New modern amphitheater opened at the UNSA Faculty of Health Studies

A new modern amphitheater, equipped with the support of the Ministry of Finance of the Sarajevo Canton, was officially opened today at the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Health Studies. This space represents a significant step forward in improving the conditions for the education of future health workers and the development of higher education in the field of health.

The Minister of Finance of the Sarajevo Canton, Afan Kalamujić, emphasized that investing in education and science is not an expense, but the most important investment in the future.

“It is here that new generations of health workers will acquire knowledge, exchange ideas and build skills that are the foundation of a strong and humane health system,” said Kalamujić.

On this occasion, the Minister also expressed his gratitude to the Faculty of Health Studies Dean, Prof. Dr. Arzija Pašalić, for her vision, dedication and continuous efforts that were crucial for the realization of this project and the development of the Faculty as a whole.

In her address to the students who started attending this faculty today, Dean Pašalić thanked Minister Kalamujić, who, she said, is most responsible for the fact that students today have the opportunity to study in this wonderful space.

“A few months ago, this space was completely empty. Today, the greatest resource of this country is sitting here, and it is you, young people, who, I hope, will successfully graduate from the Faculty of Health Studies. You will be the first generation to study in a new space, in a building that is completely intended for you and your needs. You will be able to use everything that we have dedicatedly worked for, for which we are infinitely happy and proud,” said Dean Pašalić.

With the opening of the new amphitheater, the Faculty of Health Studies received a modern space that will provide students and teachers with better conditions for work, study and research, thereby further strengthening the quality of education and the health system in Sarajevo Canton.
