The Mayor of Sarajevo visited the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Sarajevo

On 12 October 2021, Dr. Benjamina Karić, Mayor of Sarajevo, visited the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo. After addressing at the opening of the Symposium “Idea of ​​Europe and the European Union”, Mayor Karić talked with Prof. Dr. Muhamed Dželilović, Dean and Prof. Dr. Amir Duranović, Vice Dean for Research, International Academic Cooperation and Publishing.

During the conversation with Dean Dželilović, the previously expressed common commitment to the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo to be one of the co-organizers of the Online panel discussion on the study of Central and Eastern European languages, within the 5th Forum of Mayors of Central and Eastern European, which is planned to be held online in the period from 17 to 19 November 2021, whose formal host is the City of Sarajevo, was affirmed. In addition, the possibilities of expanding the framework for cooperation between the City of Sarajevo and the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Sarajevo were also discussed.
