Journal of Chemists and Technologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina is indexed in the Web of Science ESCI
The Journal of Chemists and Technologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a scientific journal with a tradition of over 60 years. The first issue of this magazine, the symbolic name - GLASNIK, which chemists wanted to include in the world of science and practice, appeared in 1952. Journal of Chemists and Technologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a semi-annual journal, which publishes original and significant works in the field of chemistry, technology, pharmacy and close fields of research. The last, number 51 of the Gazette came in December 2018.
The publisher is the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Sarajevo. The Special Edition of the Gazette publishes summaries from the International Congress of Chemists and Technologists, which is held every two years in Sarajevo. The messenger is immediately recognized as a quality magazine, since 1952 it has been indexed in the CAPLEX database (Chemical Abstract Plus), and from 2015 and in the Academic Search Complete EBSCO HOST database.
From the 48th issue (2017), the Journal is indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), which indexes more than 5,700 journals and includes more than one million records from 2015 to date. It contains magazines that are in the process of Clarivate Analytics initial editorial evaluation of the selection of journals for inclusion in their quotation indexes.
The database is available through Web of Science and is automatically searched when searching the Web of Science Core Collection. Excluding results from searches related to ESCI works can be done by selecting the MORE SETTINGS - Web of Science Core Collection: Citation Indexes.
