Historijski trenutak za Fakultet zdravstvenih studija Univerziteta u Sarajevu

On Wednesday, 20 November 2024, at 15:00, with the assistance of UNDP and the Government of the Sarajevo Canton, and the company Unigradnja d.d. Sarajevo, the construction of the building of the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Sarajevo was completed by handing over the keys to Prof. Dr. Arzija Pašalić, Dean of the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Sarajevo.

 

This historic moment marked the completion of the capital project “Reconstruction, investment maintenance and equipping of the Faculty of Health Studies, UNSA”, from the Public Investment Program of the Sarajevo Canton, and within the project “Green Economic Development III”, project activities - Increasing energy efficiency in the public sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina through increasing the energy efficiency of buildings in Pavilions VIII and IX for the needs of the Faculty of Health Studies, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the implementation of which began in December 2020.

 

The University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Health Studies, since its establishment in 1973, has not had its own premises, which has been permanently resolved by taking over the keys to the new building of the Faculty of Health Studies. The construction of the building of the Faculty of Health Studies has permanently resolved the issue of accommodation for members of the University of Sarajevo and created conditions for the smooth running of the teaching process, scientific research work and development of the University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Health Studies.
