The final meeting of the ERASMUS+ CBHE project Homo Digitalis "Bridging the Digital Humanities and Educational Media Divide in the Western Balkans"

The final meeting of the ERASMUS+ CBHE project Homo Digitalis "Bridging the Digital Humanities and Educational Media Divide in the Western Balkans" was held in Tirana at the LOGOS University, from September 18 to 20, 2025, within which the scientific conference: "Digital Competencies in Higher Education: Trends, Challenges and Perspectives" was also held.

The focus of the conference was on the scientific analysis of different modalities and contexts of the use of technology and digital tools in higher education, with special attention to the domain of humanities. The University of Sarajevo was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merima Muslić from the Faculty of Philosophy, who presented the research carried out by the project team of the University of Sarajevo, including the project leader Prof. Dr. Selma Rizvić. The project team from the University of Sarajevo was presented at the aforementioned conference with a paper on the topic “Cognitive Load and Multimedia Cultural Heritage Applications”.

In addition to the conference, the meeting was dedicated to project activities. All partners presented the activities implemented so far, indicators of success and impact of the implemented activities, discussed particularly complex topics together and agreed on a plan for the successful finalization of the project HomoDigitalis.
