The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Improves the Teaching Process With a 3D Printer and Animal Models
The Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Arnautović’s invention from 2003 has been exhibited at numerous conferences and congresses around the world, and today he officially arrived at his Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Sarajevo and made a historical upgrade for student education.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine received this equipment from the Association for Animal Rights and the Environment Eva, Doctors Against Animal Experiments, InterNICHE and PETA, and Dean, Prof. Dr. Muhamed Smajlović thanked for such a valuable and useful donation.
The conference featured Jerry, an alternative dog that has many functions and which students, along with other animal models, will use for education and exercises to gain certain knowledge and competencies to be able to practice with live animals.
From the equipment that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine received today in a donation, a 3D printer stands out that can produce moist skin, organs, etc., and a valuable donation from PETA, which donated the so-called a synthetic frog that can be used an infinite number of times in education.
