The Faculty of Transport and Communications, University of Sarajevo, in collaboration with the JP Autoceste FBiH implemented a program for the professional development of employees engaged in traffic supervision and management

The Faculty of Transport and Communications prepared and executed a Program for the professional development of workers in traffic monitoring and management. By enlisting the expertise of professors specializing in traffic safety, the Faculty successfully delivered this program and training, garnering the satisfaction of all participants. The training for motorway employees encompassed the following areas:

- FUNDAMENTALS OF METEOROLOGY AND ITS IMPACT ON TRAFFIC SAFETY
- TRANSPORT OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
- FIRE PROTECTION
- RESCUE PROTOCOLS FOR VEHICLES AND DRIVERS
- ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ON THE MOTORWAY
- ENHANCEMENT OF DRIVING SAFETY SKILLS THROUGH DRIVER SIMULATION
This program represents a significant step towards strengthening collaboration between economic entities and the academic community, facilitating the direct transfer of knowledge and experiences from the university to the real sector. Connecting traffic experts with industry contributes to the improved efficiency and safety on the roads. This initiative lays the groundwork for future projects that will foster the development of traffic infrastructure and the education of personnel in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
