European Entrepreneurial Network and ABSL - BiH Business Service Leaders Association Sign Memorandum of Understanding
SARAJEVO, 16 October 2019 - Representatives of the European Entrepreneurial Network (EEN) Project at the University of Sarajevo signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Association of Business Service Leaders in BiH (ABSL). On behalf of the European Entrepreneurial Network (EEN) Project, University of Sarajevo, the Memorandum was signed by Prof. Dr. Melika Husić-Mehmedović. On behalf of the Association of Business Service Leaders in BiH, the Memorandum was signed by Mr. Adis Mustabašić, an ABSL founder.
The signed MoU regulates the modalities and specific aspects of mutual cooperation in the field of project proposal preparation and applications to EU funds. The mutual support of the signatories was also agreed in terms of supporting the organization of events, conferences and guest lectures. The signing of this Memorandum will enable ABSL members to have easier access to the services offered by EEN, such as assistance and support in finding partners for business projects abroad, or in applying for EU funds.
The Enterprise Europe Network-EEN is a key instrument of the European Strategy for stimulating economic development and job creation. Launched in 2008, it has operated with its 3,000 local experts in more than 600 locations in 60 countries. Today, the EEN Network has grown into the largest entrepreneurial network in the world, supporting the development of competitiveness and innovation of SMEs with international ambitions. The University of Sarajevo, through the Horizon2020 project, has been a member of the EEN network since 2017 and within the Consortium implements the activities of connecting BH companies with international partners.
The ABSL Association was established in 2019 with the aim of unifying companies in BiH that offer business services to their clients, and as such have the ability to outsource their services to third countries. ABSL BiH offers such companies not only access to new market partners and businesses, but also, above all, different opportunities for development, exchange of knowledge and experience, both through different events in BiH and abroad, and through quality publications.
