Dr. Maja Arslanagić-Kalajdžić won the 2018 Danubius Young Scientist Award for Bosnia and Herzegovina
The University of Sarajevo proudly informs that Doz. Dr. Maja Arslanagić-Kalajdžić from the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Economics, Department of Marketing is the winner of this year's Danubius Young Scientist Award for the best young scientist from Bosnia and Herzegovina. This award is granted by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research of Austria together with the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe with the aim of granting recognition to scientists and scientists that achieve outstanding results in their research activities.
“I am very happy and proud to be the winner of this year’s Danubius Young Scientist Award from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The award is important to me, especially since in the last few years my scientific work has been focused on research relevant to the Danube region, since I spent one period on post-doctoral research at the University of Vienna. One of the results of the research is the scientific work “Brothers in blood, yet strangers to the global brand purchase: A four-country study of the role of consumer personality” published in the prestigious Journal of Business Research.
The award has been awarded since 2011 to young scientists from Danube region 14 countries (Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania and Ukraine) for outstanding achievements in the area of their research.
