Welcome day for visiting students

The International Relations Office of the University of Sarajevo, in cooperation with the vice-deans and coordinators for international relations from member units, opened a series of calls for international mobility and ensured the admission of international students for the summer semester 2023/2024. years.

In the summer semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, 30 international students will have the opportunity to stay at the University of Sarajevo. For this reason, we have organised the Welcome Day for international students from 20 higher education institutions from 13 European countries. Students come from the Czech Republic, France, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Lithuania, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain and Turkiye.

The students were welcomed by the representatives of the International Relations Office, who presented the University of Sarajevo, the city of Sarajevo, and provided the students with academic and practical information that will help them find their way around the city faster and better. In cooperation with the Erasmus Student Network student association, foreign students can be "paired" with local students to facilitate their stay in Sarajevo.

International guest students will stay at the University of Sarajevo until the end of July 2024, when they officially finish their teaching duties: representatives of the International Relations Office express the hope that during their mobility at the University of Sarajevo, the students will achieve positive results and experience the most beautiful moments in Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
