Workshop: Existential challenges and modern achievements in beekeeping, honey production and nutritional benefits of bee products

Bee colonies are shrinking and disappearing with each passing day at an almost alarming level. Many of us are not even aware of how much effort and special attention it is necessary to invest in beekeeping in order to achieve success. By acting properly in beekeeping, we help to preserve them, but we also reduce the negative consequences of climate change and the problems that humanity is facing. Due to climate and weather changes, bees need at least 10-15kg of honey to survive the winter, and many beekeepers do not plan enough, so many other problems such as diseases, parasites, fights between bee colonies, etc. come from malnutrition. In these years of famine, bees suffer the most and their numbers decrease even more.

On 11 December 2021, CIS UNSA and DTCare BiH invite you to a workshop on this and other challenges of modern beekeeping in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond, with the participation of domestic and foreign experts.
