The University of Sarajevo Faculty of Philosophy Completed the OJS (Open Journal Systems) Platform Implementation

The Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Sarajevo has completed the implementation of the OJS (Open Journal Systems) platform. The OJS platform ensures a transparent publishing, guarantees the security of the review, provides better magazine “visibility” and offers many other opportunities we have not had yet. The project was realized with the cooperation of the Library, the Research Service, the International Academic Cooperation and Publishing and the IT Support Service.
At the moment, there are two journals on the platform: Radovi Filozofskog fakulteta and Radovi Filozofskog fakulteta (Historija, Historija umjetnosti o arheologiji). Please keep in mind that in the moment, only the Radovi Filozofskog fakulteta journal is active.
Through this project’s implementation, we achieved greater “visibility” of our journals and opened a number of new possibilities for indexing in different databases. This project is another confirmation that the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo is ready to keep up with modern technologies that make the scientific and research work of this institution “more visible” in the academic community.
