The Student Support Office launches the project “Adapting Literature for Students with Partial or Full Visual Impairment”

The Student Support Office is launching the Adaptation of Literature project for students with partial or complete visual impairment. The project will ensure the adaptation of literature in digital form, soundtrack and enlarged print for easier follow up of teaching at the University of Sarajevo. The project activities are related to the promotion and protection of basic human rights, the promotion and improvement of the education of visually impaired students, all in order to increase the quality of education.

The Federal Ministry of Education and Science and the Centar Municipality Sarajevo have approved financial support for the acquisition of scanners for the implementation of the Adaptation of Literature for Students with Partial and Complete Visual Impairment project, which is being implemented by the Office for Student Support in partnership with the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Political Science, University of Sarajevo.

Students are invited to come forward if they have a need for adapted and digitized literature.

All University of Sarajevo organizational units are invited to inform their students to come forward if they need to adapt the literature.
