Research Activities at the University of Sarajevo

In the UNSA Secretariat on 24 and 25 October 2017, a series of meetings with member institutions’ Vice-Deans for research and scientific institutes Directors were held with Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Dr. Izet Radjo.

At the meetings, the integration functions through the department of science and research at the University of Sarajevo in accordance with the new Law on Higher Education of Canton Sarajevo were discussed. The importance of adopting the “Strategy for the development of research at the University of Sarajevo” was especially emphasized, which stands for a key document defining the directions of action taking with the aim of improving the quality and stimulating innovation in science, technology and arts, as well as strengthening the research profile and recognition of the University of Sarajevo. Discussions were held on the rules/criteria for the third cycle of studies at the University of Sarajevo, and data collecting methodology for the annual operative reports from the domain of research was harmonized.
