Promotion of a new book by Prof. Dr. Sanjin Kodrić: Studia o literaturze Bośni i Hercegowiny: Globalne w lokalnym (Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, Poznań, 2019) was held in the UNSA Rectorate’s Ceremonial Hall of the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo
The book was presented by Prof. Dr. Hab. Bogumiła Kaniewska (University “Adam Mickiewicz” in Poznan Vice-Rector), Prof. Dr. Hab. Bogusław Zieliński (University “Adam Mickiewicz” in Poznan Institute for Slavic Philology Director), Prof. Dr. Muhidin Džanko (Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo) and Prof. Dr. Dijana Hadžizukić (Faculty of Humanities, “Džemal Bijedić” University of Mostar).
The new book by Prof. Dr. Sanjin Kodrić is the first book of a Bosnian scientist in the field of Bosnian sciences ever published in Poland, or in Polish.
The publisher of the book is renowned University “Adam Mickiewicz” from Poznan, whose Institute for Slavic Philology is one of the most important European Slavic institutes.
Prof. Dr. Sanjin Kodrić (Sarajevo, 1978) is a full-time professor of Bosniak literature and literature theory at the Department of Literature of the People of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo, while as a visiting professor or by invitation he lectured at graduate, master's and doctoral studies at several universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.
In particular, he deals with recent Bosniak and Bosnian literature (19th and 20th centuries), especially in the cultural perspective and in relation to issues of interliteracy and interculturalism, as well as the theory of literature history and contemporary literary and cultural theories.
