Prof. Dr. Jasmina Talam Postdoctoral Research in the Field of Folklore Studies Scholarship Recipient
The Swedish Royal Academy, Royal Academies of Music, Fine Arts, Literature and History and the Royal Academy Gustavus Adolphus for Swedish Folklore Studies established a scholarship program for postdoctoral studies known as the Bernadotte Program in 2016, on the 70th birthday of Swedish King Charles XVI Gustav. The scholarship winner for 2018 for postdoctoral research in the field of folklore studies is Prof. Dr. Jasmina Talam. The diplomas were handed by King Karl XVI Gustav at a ceremony held at the Bernadotte Library in the Castle of Stockholm on 2 May 2018. Postdoctoral research “Bosnian refugees in music-making and cultural organizational activities in Sweden” by Prof. Dr. Jasmine Talam will be held within the Svenskt Visarkiv in the academic 2018/2019.
