First World War and Bosnia and Herzegovina – Untold Stories

The UNSA Faculty of Economics organizes the conference “First World War and Bosnia and Herzegovina - Untold Stories to be held at the Faculty in Sarajevo, Trg oslobođenja - Alija Izetbegović 1, on 22 February 2018, from 09:00 to 14:30.
The conference is one of activities within the project NETWORLD (Networking in Preserving the First World War Multicultural Heritage in the Danube Countries) involving 14 partners from nine Danube Region countries. The NETWORLD project aims to preserve the heritage associated with World War I and the development of cultural tourism in BH and other countries of the Danube region. The NETWORLD project is funded through the Interreg Danube Transnational Program.
The Conference "First World War and Bosnia and Herzegovina - Unfortunate Tales" will mark a series of prominent speakers - World War I specialists who will discuss topics related to the preservation of World War One recall and the revitalization of World War One monuments.
After the conference, for all participants a sightseeing tour related to the First World War in Sarajevo is planned.
