“EFFICIENT TRAFFIC - TRANSPORT AND COMMUNICATION DEVELOPMENT OF BIH” Conference

Meeting of traffic and communication engineers “EFFICIENT TRAFFIC - TRANSPORT AND COMMUNICATION DEVELOPMENT OF BIH” was held on 8 June 2019 in Jajce, co-organized by Alumni Association of Traffic and Communications Engineers in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Faculty of Transport and Communications, University of Sarajevo and the Institute for Transport and Communications, under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Traffic of BiH, the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of RS, the Central Bosnia Canton Government, the Ministry of Economy of the SBK and the Jajce Municipality.

The above-mentioned scientific and expert meeting brought together the most prominent experts from all fields of transport, transport and communication in Bosnia and Herzegovina and over 150 participants of traffic and communication engineers, where, through four panel discussions and scientific-professional papers, the current issues were covered:

  • Panel I - Legal adjustments and harmonization with the EU in the field of transport, transport and communication, 
  • Panel II - Strategic planning of transport and communication systems and infrastructure,
  • Panel III - Traffic safety, maintenance of traffic infrastructure and pollution of urban areas,
  • Panel IV - Sustainable development and smart technologies in the field of transport.

Within the scientific-expert meeting, conclusions and guidelines on future directions of action, opportunities and possibilities for improvement in the field of transport, transport and communication in Bosnia and Herzegovina have been adopted. Also, the number of scientific-professional journal TEC-TRAFFIC ENGINEERING & COMMUNICATIONS was promoted within the scientific-professional conference.
