EEN Network Day in BiH

The European Enterprise Network (EEN) Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina was organized by the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber and held on 7 December 2017 in Sarajevo. The event was attended by representatives of competent entity and state ministries, EU institutions, representatives of the consortium of the European entrepreneurial network from BiH and the region, and a significant number of businessmen.
This event marked the beginning of the EEN network operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where EEN network has been operating since 2009.
Within this promotional event, a panel discussion titled “European Entrepreneurship Network in the Western Balkans – showcases” was held in which representatives of EEN from Slovenia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Federation of BiH and Republika Srpska participated. During the panel, concrete examples of support to small and medium-sized companies in internationalization and strengthening of innovation capacities were discussed, and successful examples from practice were presented.
The University of Sarajevo is a participant of the European Entrepreneurship Network through participation in a project entitled BITNET - Business Information and Technological Innovation Network in FBiH, funded through the COSME and H2020 programs, which aims to establish and support the activities of the European Enterprise Network in FBiH.
