“5th Sarajevo Psychology Days” Started
Organized by the Department of Psychology and the Center for Psychological Research, Education and Counseling, operating within the Center for Scientific and Research Work and Professional Activities at the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Philosophy (NIRSA), from 19 April to 21 April 2108, Sarajevo hosts the “5th Sarajevo Psychology Days“ scientific-professional meeting for the fifth time.
The Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo is again a gathering place for local and foreign psychologists, as well as other scientists and experts from related disciplines (pedagogy, medicine, marketing and communication), from the field of education and culture, and other. Experts and scientists will, through the exchange of professional experience and the latest knowledge, contribute not only to the promotion of psychology, but as well as to the affirmation of the role of scientific thought and responsible practice in improving the quality of life.
The program envisages the announcements of the original basic and applied research in various fields of psychology (educational and developmental psychology, general and cognitive psychology, clinical psychology and psychotherapy, organizational psychology, social psychology, psychometry and psychology of the person), which will be realized through round tables, oral presentations , expert workshops and poster presentations.
On Thursday, 19 April at 18.00 (Small amphitheater, Faculty of Philosophy), the lecture is to be delivered by Prof.Dr.Sc. Vesna Vlahović-Štetić, Department of Psychology, University of Zagreb Faculty of Philosophy (topic: How psychology and psychologists can help in learning and teaching - an example of mathematics). On Friday, 20 April 20th, at 18.00 (Small amphitheater, Faculty of Philosophy), the lecture will be held by esteemed Prof.Dr.Sc. Jadranka Kolenović-Đapo, Department of Psychology, University of Sarajevo Faculty of Philosophy (topic: Smile wisely: humor in the personality’s space).
An important part of this meeting is the student section, which traditionally gives a special flavor to the Sarajevo Psychology Days.
