To be prepared by participating deans, professors and students in the implementation from all eight public universities in our country

The Education Center for Democracy and Human Rights Civitas in cooperation with the Public Affairs Office of the US Embassy in Sarajevo will host the First University Conference dedicated to the civic education. This unique example of professional and scientific cooperation of public universities aims to emphasize the role of higher education in the education of informed and highly motivated citizens capable of critical thinking, analysis and systemic solving of problems in society, while accepting their own social responsibility.

The start of the program is planned for in the Rectorate of the University of Sarajevo Rectorate on Monday, 3 December 2018. at 12:00. The students will be addressed by Nicholas Hersh, US Embassy Attaché for the media.

The organization of the program is funded by grants from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the US Government.
