Welcome Day for international students at UNSA
The International Relations Office of the University of Sarajevo, in cooperation with the vice-deans and coordinators for international cooperation from member universities, during the winter semester, opened a series of calls for the exchange of students, teachers and associates and organized the admission of foreign students in the summer semester 2022/2023. years.
In this semester, we have 30 foreign students who were given the opportunity to attend classes and take exams at the University of Sarajevo. On this occasion, on February 23, 2023, a Welcome Day was held for our international students who come through various mobility programs, mainly through the Erasmus+ program. Students come from partner universities from France, Spain, Turkey, Portugal, Austria, Germany, Estonia and Italy.
The welcome day was held in the format of direct contact, and the students had the opportunity to meet the vice-deans from the faculties and academies where they will spend this semester. They were also presented with a virtual presentation of the University of Sarajevo and the city of Sarajevo. This was an opportunity for students to get academic and practical information that would help them navigate the city more accessible and better. In cooperation with the student association Erasmus Student Network, students will also meet local students to facilitate their stay and provide information about life in Sarajevo.
International students will stay until the end of June 2023, when they finish their teaching duties. We hope that during that period, they will achieve positive results and experience the most beautiful moments during their mobility in Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
