Delegation of Ada University visits the University of Sarajevo
The delegation of ADA University from Baku (Azerbaijan) visited the University of Sarajevo today, where they met with the vice-rector for international relations, prof. PhD. Enita Nakaš and Adnan Rahimić on behalf of the International Relations Office. The delegation from Azerbaijan was prof. PhD. Anar Valiyev, Dean of the School of Public and International Affairs, Mr Elshad Goyushov, enrollment coordinator, and Mr Elmar Aghasiyev, first secretary of the diplomatic representation of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Bosnia and Herzegovina, also attended the meeting.
Establishing cooperation between the two institutions and facilitating the international exchange of students and staff were the topics of the meeting. Given that the University of Sarajevo and ADA University have no previous forms of cooperation, it was concluded that this cooperation would be an excellent opportunity for the exchange of scientific and professional expertise, as well as the initiation of joint projects and a better connection between our two countries.
ADA University was established by decree in 2014 by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. ADA University is a state higher education institution that conducts undergraduate and postgraduate programs while promoting research. The university is the legal successor of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) and the University of Information Technologies. They were merged in January 2014 to form ADA University. ADA University members are the School of Public and International Affairs, the School of Business, the School of Education and the School of Computer Science and Engineering.
