UNSA Academy of Music Composition Department concert ends UNSA Art Days Festival

The festival “UNSA Art Days” ended with a concert by the Department of Composition of the Music Academy UNSA, which was held at the House of the Armed Forces of BiH. The program included compositions by Rok Đuzel, Moamer Balihodžić, Rijad Kaniža, Mirza Gološ, Azur Kasapović, Hanan Hadžajlić, Đorđe Jovančić and Ališer Sijarić.

Roko Đuzel performed his composition “V” for multipercussion and tape (2021), and his work “Valkyrie Eleison” for alto flute, cello, multipercussion, Arturia Minibrute2 and Valhalla delay (2021), which they interpreted, was premiered at the concert. Lamija Hasković (Arturia Minibrute2), Hana Hamza (cello), Sonja Međugorac (flute), Davor Maraus (multipercussion) and Roko Đuzel (Valhalla delay).

Moamer Balihodžić played his work “ĆIRO” for accordion and effects (2015), and pianist and composer Mirza Gološ interpreted “SYNC To BUG” for piano and tape (2020), whose author he is.

On this occasion, two works by Rijad Kaniža were performed for the first time, "Beatsie" for (sounded) flute and clarinet (2021) interpreted by Sonja Međugorac (flute) and Armin Smrike (clarinet), while "How did Anton Webern die? A Groove Story. ” for (sounded) flute, piano and two violins (2022) presented to the audience Sonja Međugorac (flute), Dino Rešidbegović (piano), Merima Kamber Oručević (violin) and Sara Barbara Bilela (violin).

Hanan Hadžajlić premiered her composition "Koh-i-Noor" for sounded flute and tape (2022).

Cellist Belma Alić premiered "Perpetual Possibility" for cello (2020) by Azur Kasapović, while the work of Đorđe Jovančič "Fragment in Time" for flute and piano (2012) was played by Hanan Hadžajlić (flute) and Esma Babić (piano).

The concert ended with a performance by Belma Alić, who will interpret “Die Zeit ist SAND nu (h) R” for cello (2005) by Ališer Sijarić.
