On 17 December 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed between the University of Sarajevo - Faculty of Health Studies, headed by Dean Prof. Dr. Arzija Pašalić and a representative of the Association “Eco Active Natura.”
The Association "Eco Active Natura" in partnership with the Association for Sanitary Engineering in Bosnia and Herzegovina has launched a project called "Environmental and health factors in preschool institutions." The project was funded by the FBiH Environmental Protection Fund, and the main goal of the project was to improve environmental and health factors that affect the preschool population in the Sarajevo Canton. The project tasks were to determine the level of noise and air pollution levels in preschool institutions, as well as to make recommendations for reducing the levels of noise and air pollution indoors.
In cooperation with the University of Sarajevo - Faculty of Health Studies, second and third year students of the study program of Sanitary Engineering completed training in the use and practical work with devices that determine the specified parameters within the project.
After the completion of the project activities, the Association "Eco Active Natura" donated devices for determining the number of dust particles and a noise meter. Donated equipment will be used by students as part of classes, which will contribute to the completion of their practical knowledge and skills.
