Formal reception on the occasion of the publication of the First Bosnian Linguistic Atlas: Phonetics
Today, in the UNSA Faculty of Philosophy amphitheater, a reception was held on the occasion of the publication of the first Bosnian Linguistic Atlas: Phonetics and the awarding of copies to associates.
The Atlas project was managed by Acad. Senahid Halilović, who, together with Dr. Mehmed Kardaš, Prof. Dr. Amela Ljevo-Ovčina, Prof Dr. Emir Mešanović-Meša gave the most significant author's stamp to Atlas, in the five-year creation of which more than thirty professional associates participated.
A special contribution to the creation of the Atlas was given by Dr. Nusret Drešković, who made maps with the help of the most modern computer tools and GIS, Narcis Pozderac, who was in charge of technical processing and layout, and Tarik Jasenković, who designed the cover of the Atlas.
The phonetic volume of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Linguistic Atlas deals with material collected from 1975 to 1986 and from 2016 to 2017. in 230 local speeches throughout BiH.
