INGEB’s scientist joins team to develop international guidelines

Belma Kalamujić Stroil is Senior Research Associate with the Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Sarajevo University and Head of Laboratory for molecular genetics of natural resources. She has joined forces with 28 scientists from 16 countries which led to the publication of paper in reputed journal BioScience (https://academic.oup.com/bioscience/advance-article/doi/10.1093/biosci/biab054/6278470). The paper delivers scientific guidelines and recommendations for worldwide global post-2020 actions (CBD-Convention on Biological Diversity) aimed at the prevention of genetic diversity deterioration.
