The Director of the General Library of Usora visited the National and University Library of BiH
Dr. Ismet Ovčina, Director of the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina, received today Mrs. Daliborka Matošević, Director of the General Library of Usora, in a short working-consultative visit.
In the conversation, director Matošević said that the renewed work of the Library is difficult due to epidemiological situations and the prevention of the Library to carry out the usual activities to animate users, especially the youngest readers.
Until the beginning of the pandemic caused by the COVID19 pandemic, the Usora General Library was recognized for its pilot and mini-projects and was the center of cultural and educational activities in Usora.
In addition to all the difficulties, the General Library of Usora is trying to implement the project “Exterior design of the Library”, since in addition to the newly built building in which the Library used in 2018, a summer stage was built, and some external works remain to be completed.
Due to the restrictive working conditions for users, the Library plans to put emphasis on publishing and the Homeland Collection, and the implementation of ideas on a mobile library, which in COVID enables the implementation of customer service activities.
Dr. Ovčina praised the enthusiasm and commitment of Mrs. Matošević and the employees of the General Library of Usora and supported the ideas for which, as it was said, in these necessary intentions, there is great will and strong positive synergy.
Dr. Ovčina and Mr. Matosevic, who agrees with the fruitful professional cooperation so far, should be continued in the future.
Dr. Ovčina, on behalf of the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina gave a package of books to Mrs. Matošević General Director of Library of Usora, as well as several copies of the latest titles published by NUBBiH.
