New edition of the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies in the field of computer crime
The Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies, University of Sarajevo as a co-publisher, in cooperation with the publishing house ART RABIC, published the book “Cybercrime: The International Legal and Institutional Framework and Bosnia and Herzegovina” by Dr. Sc. Arben Murtezić, in cooperation with Andrea Dizdarević.
It is a bilingual edition, the original text of which was written in English and translated into our language.
The foreword was written by Dr. Paul Norman, Dean of the Institute for Criminal Justice, University of Portsmouth, one of the most prestigious institutions of its kind in the UK. The reviewers are professors of Prof. Dr. Haris Halilović and Prof. Dr. Eldan Mujanović.
The book, among other things, includes an analysis of the typology of the work, challenges in building an adequate systemic response, identification and evaluation of the work of relevant international and domestic institutions, and basic issues of digital forensics. Special emphasis is placed on the legal framework from the aspect of harmonization of domestic regulations and international documents. The book is the result of a comprehensive survey, which in addition to the primary survey conducted in the judiciary and law enforcement agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, includes a bibliography of over 250 titles.
We believe that due to the topicality of the topic, the limitations of the existing literature, the fact that it is a bilingual edition, and of course the content, this edition will be interesting and useful for researchers, practitioners and students, not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
