UNSA Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Representative elected to the Council of International Veterinary Education (CIVME)

At the end of 2020, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Sarajevo was accepted as an associate member of the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC, www.aavmac.org) as one of currently only ten European veterinary Faculties with membership in this organization. 
Through membership in the AAVMC, free access to the prestigious scientific journal published by this Association (Journal of Veterinary Medical Education - JVME) is provided, as well as the possibility of participation of Faculty representatives in AAVMC programs. Following an open international competitive invitation, the nomination of Prof. Dr. Nihad Fejzić was supported on behalf of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine as a member of the Council on International Veterinary Medical Education 
(CIVME, www.aavmc.org/programs/civme). Based on the nomination, Prof. Fejzić was elected a member of CIVMA, whose election was confirmed by the Executive Board of AAVMC, and after confirming the engagement, he began a three-year term in this position. With satisfaction with the success of this initiative, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will continue to open options for further benefits provided by membership in the AAVMC, now additionally supported by the engagement of Prof. Dr. Fejzić in CIVMA, to whom we wish successful work.
