The 25th Issue of Bosniaca magazine promoted
The 25th issue of the magazine “Bosniaca” was presented at the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The journal is published by the National and University Library of BiH, with the intention of continuously providing professional and scientific information and monitoring scientific achievements in the field of library profession and information sciences.
This Bosnian professional journal in the field of librarianship has already been indexed in several international databases: Web of Science, EBSCO Central & Eastern European Academic Source and The Belt and Road Initiative Reference Source (EBSCO), ROAD (Directory of Open Access scholarly Resources), Index Copernicus, Erich plus (the European Reference Index for Humanities), ICI Journals Master List, KoBSON (Consortium of Serbian Libraries for Unified Procurement) and available in CEEOL databases (Central and Eastern European Online Library), Hrčak - Portal of Croatian scientific and professional journals I Slavic Humanities Index. As of this year, Bosniaca has been included in the DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) database.
The editor-in-chief, director of the National and University Library of BiH, Dr. Ismet Ovčina, University of Sarajevo Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj and professor from the Department of Comparative Literature and Information Sciences, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Lejla Kodrić Zaimović spoke about the magazine.
Director Ismet Ovčina expressed his satisfaction that Bosniaca is annually published. Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj pointed out a significant novelty brought by this issue - that magazine is published bilingually, in B/C/S and English. Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo professor, Prof. Dr. Lejla Kodrić Zaimović emphasized the importance of Bosniaca being indexed not only in bibliographic but also in citation databases. The promotion was held in compliance with the prescribed epidemiological measures and recommendations of the competent health authorities.
