Innovative interdisciplinary project and successful cooperation between the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo

Using his knowledge and modern technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Čekić, Doz. Dr. Kenan Muhamedagić and student Kenan Baljić from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo created a commercially unavailable, yet very important component for PCR devices, enabling the continued use of important equipment for molecular genetic analysis within the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.
