The Erasmus+ exchange story through photography
The Exhibition+ - Erasmus+ story through photography - was held on Wednesday, 16 October 2019 at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Sarajevo.
As the title implies, this is an exhibition of photographs taken by students and staff members from Bosnia and Herzegovina who participated in the Erasmus+ exchange. Visitors could get insight into personal and overall mobility experience through photographs with brief explanations, and perhaps after visiting the exhibition, they might have been also motivated to apply for future Erasmus+ exchange calls.
Behind the idea of the Exhibition+ was Mr. Sc. Adnan Rahimić, UNSA Senior International Relations Officer. With the support of Prof. Dr Aleksandra Nikolić, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Dr. Jasna Bošnjović, Head of International Relations Office at UNSA, he transformed the idea of creative dissemination of Erasmus+ mobilities into a project and applied for a grant to the regional organisation Western Balkan Alumni Association - WBAA (to which he also is a full-time member). The WBAA recognized the potential of this project and granted the further implementation of the project - enabling photo development, production and framing, and afterwards organisation of exhibition and networking.
Aside of the exhibition that happened in the evening, during a day a workshop and presentation of WBAA was implemented during the 3rd International Staff training Week (taking place from 14 to 18 October 2019 at the University of Sarajevo) organized by International Relations Office for incoming staff members from European universities and local students and staff from the University of Sarajevo.
This exhibition would not be possible without openness and collaboration from students and staff members from BiH's higher education institutions who allowed their photographs - memories from their private collection to be included in this project, therefore on behalf of the University of Sarajevo and WBAA project owner, we would like to thank them for the cooperation and support.
