Association PRAVA ZA SVE presented the project “Through student practice faster to work”
Representatives of the Association PRAVA ZA SVE, Mrs. Diana Šehić, Director, and Mrs. Arijana Ćatović visited the University of Sarajevo on Friday, 18 January 2019, where they met with Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj and Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović and Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolić.
Director Šehić presented the project “Through student practice faster to work“, which is financially supported by the European Union, and emphasized that the overall goal of this project is to support higher education reform, which will among other things, enable university students in BiH to acquire practical skills that meet the best EU practices and thus prepare young people to meet labor market demands. She also explained that the project will build cross-sectoral cooperation that will connect student organizations, academic and business communities in order to improve the framework of higher education, and ensure employment of young people through entrepreneurship-based learning.
In the three-year project implementation, various educational programs will be organized as well as a media campaign that promotes the goals and participants of the project.
During the meeting, it was discussed about possible future cooperation and participation of the University of Sarajevo in this project. Assessing the extremely important project “Through student practice faster to work”, Rector Škrijelj expressed the openness of the University of Sarajevo for cooperation.
