Jubilee Year Conclusion: Monograph “70 Years of the UNSA Music Academy” Presented and Annual Awards Ceremony Held

The year marked by the celebration of the 70^th anniversary of the University of Sarajevo Music Academy was rounded up with a ceremonial session of the Teaching-Artistic Council, during which the monograph created for this jubilee was presented, and awards and recognitions for achievements in the 2024/25 academic year were given to academic and non-academic staff. The ceremony was held in the Music Academy’s Small Hall on 30 December  2025. After the presentation  of the monograph “70 Years of the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo” – a testament to the work and accomplishments achieved over the past decade (2015–2025) – Dean, Prof. Ališer Sijarić, MA, reflected on the successes of the academic staff during 2025. He highlighted the exceptional results of this year's winners of the University of Sarajevo awards and congratulated Asst. Prof. Dr. Hanan Hadžajlić, (Award for Special Contribution to the Arts for 2024), Prof. Dr. Belma Alić,  (Award for Longstanding Contribution to the Arts), and Prof. Dr. Nerma Hodžić-Mulabegović, (Award for Contribution in Disciplines of Special National Significance for 2024), after which he presented the annual awards of the Music Academy UNSA.

Recognitions for pedagogical achievements were awarded to Full Prof. Emina Begić, MA, Associate Prof. Azra Medić, MA, and Full Prof. Belma Šarančić, Dr., who was also honored with the award for contribution to the profession, which was also received by Full Prof. Dr. Tamara Karača Beljak and Full Prof. Dr. Amila Ramović.

Recognitions for exceptional dedication and contribution to the realization of artistic and scientific projects of the Music Academy UNSA were given to Aida Adžović, MA, and Asst. Rijad Kaniža, MA, while a certificate of appreciation for decades of contribution to the Music Academy UNSA collective was presented to Hamdija Lošić.
