Prof. Dr. Selma Rizvić, at the invitation of the European Commission, participated as a panelist on ICT 2018
Dr. Selma Rizvić, associate professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo was invited by the European Commission to be a panelist at the session Unleashing European cultural treasures in the Digital Age in the conference ICT 2018: Imagine Digital - Connect Europe. Host of the conference were the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2018 and the Digital Single Market, and was held in Vienna from 4 to 6 December 2018.
The session Unleashing European cultural treasures in the Digital Age has been organized as part of the celebration of 2018 as the year of cultural heritage in order to encourage Europeans to detect their culture and traditions and strengthen the sense of belonging to a common European space. The key issue of the discussion was how to take advantage of the opportunities provided by mass digitization to promote the European cultural legacy.
