Cluster meeting of Tempus/CBHE projects focused on cooperation between universities and business sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina

A cluster meeting of Tempus/CBHE projects focused on university and business cooperation in Bosnia and Herzegovina was held in the University of Sarajevo on Wednesday, 7 November 2018.
The was opened by welcoming speeches delivered  by Prof. Dr. Maida Čohodar Husić, UNSA Vice-Rector for Quality , Mr. Suad Muhibić, BH National Erasmus+ Office Director and Mrs. Aida Durić, Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH.
“It is clear that the quality of academic education and the ability of the state, i.e. the economy for innovation and competitiveness, strongly depend on cooperation between universities and companies, its intensity and effectiveness. Therefore, strengthening cooperation between universities and enterprises is one of the goals in the University of Sarajevo’s development strategy” said Vice-Chairperson Čohodar Husić
Director Muhibić said that the cooperation between the university and the business sector was satisfactory, but that it could always be better. “The goal is to create a link between the university and the business sector, so that students who graduate from the Faculty are ready and able to respond to the labor market” he said.
At the Cluster meetings, projects funded by the Erasmus + European Union Program were presented that deal with the development of university and business sector cooperation.
