Welcome Day for Foreign Students at the University of Sarajevo

The University of Sarajevo’s International Cooperation Department (in cooperation with University member institutions’ International Cooperation Vice-Deans and Coordinators) in summer semester made a number of mobility competition calls and secured stays for foreign students attending the 2023/2024 winter semester. Seventeen students from abroad have been given the opportunity to stay at the University of Sarajevo, and on this occasion, a welcome day for foreign students participating in the Erasmus+ program was held. University of Sarajevo visiting students from abroad come from Austria, the Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary, Germany and Spain.

Within the Welcome Day, students were familiarized with the University of Sarajevo and the City itself. The visiting students were also provided with academic and practical information items for their faster and better blending in.

The foreign students will stay at the University of Sarajevo until the end of February 2024 when they will officially meet teaching obligations, and we hope that during this period they will achieve positive results and have pleasant experience during mobility in Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
