Visits to the Logosoft Data Center

University of Sarajevo Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj visited Logosoft Data Center on 13 July, where he met with director, Damir Dizdarević.

The Logosoft Data Center is located at the UNSA Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and is built according to state-of-the-art technology, safety and ecological standards.

With a visit to the sales server and the energy communication store, Logosoft's features and services are presented, it is emphasized that the Data Center is a large group of networked servers and network storage, used by companies to remotely store, process or distribute large amounts of data using cloud services.

Along with the successful cooperation of Logosoft and the organizational units of the University of Sarajevo, in particular the UTIC University Telecommunication Center, opportunities have been considered for further development of cooperation especially with the aim of strengthening IT competencies and capacity strengthening of the UTIC.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Maida Čohodar Husić, Vice-Rector for Quality, University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Đerzija Begić, Dean for Finance at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Elmedin Selmanović, Director of UTIC, and Logosoft associates.
