UNSA Faculty of Forestry and the Federal Association of Forestry Engineers and Technicians Delegation on a Working Visit to Turkey
UNSA Faculty of Forestry and the Federal Association of Forestry Engineers and Technicians delegation, composed of Prof. Dr. Mirza Dautbašić, Prof. Dr. Dalibor Ballian and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Lojo, was in a five-day working visit to the Republic of Turkey from 20 to 25 January 2020.
Delegation members participated in the conference “Forestry Research” organized by the Republic of Turkey Forests General Directorate (OGM) in Antalya, which was attended by deans and forestry experts from all Forestry Faculties in Turkey.
At the conference, joint scientific research work on forestry projects was agreed, and Republic of Turkey Forests General Directorate representatives announced they are ready to donate significant equipment to the forestry sector of the Federation of BiH this year again.
The visit to Turkey ended in Isparta where the delegation was received by Rector of the University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Diler, and a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed between the Faculty of Forestry, University of Sarajevo and the Faculty of Forestry, University of Applied Sciences Isparta, signed by their Deans: Prof. Dr. Mirza Dautbašić and Prof. Dr. Yilmaz Çatal.
