Students of the Department of Communication/Journalism Faculty of Political Sciences promoted the blog “Students on Youth"

At the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo, on 6 June, 2018, a promotion of a student blog was held. The third-year students from the Department of Communication/Journalism published their author's stories about youth. The blog was created as a practical part of the course on Online journalism, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Lejla Turčilo and Assistant Professor Mr. Sc. Lamija Silajdžić.
At fpnmladi.wordpress.com, students discuss topics and publish stories about successful young people, their habits and successes, the risks and problems they are facing as well as their position in BiH society.
Interviews with peers and relevant experts on topics specific to the youth population were also published on the blog. Video clips made within the subject of TV journalism have also been published on this blog. This is an attempt to introduce more concrete, practical journalistic work on journalism and encourage students to use journalistic stories during their studies.
The synergy between student and teacher ideas is focused on positive and motivational stories, countering negative topics that often take the primacy of public discourse.
The blog will be transformed into the news portal of the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Political Science in the coming period.
