The Solemn Session of the UNSA Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics’ Council was held
A formal Session of the UNSA Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics’ Council was held today, where the basic indicators of the Faculty's work in various areas of its activity in 2022 and 2023 were presented, chiefly:
- In all areas of organization and implementation of the scientific-teaching process in all three study cycles,
- In the implementation of various projects in the fields of infrastructural reconstruction and furnishing of teaching and laboratory rooms,
- Procurement of capital equipment for the implementation of the scientific-teaching process and scientific-research work,
- Achievements of the Faculty's academic staff in the field of scientific and research work.
- Acknowledging the fact that the scientific-teaching and scientific-research process is inevitably connected with the work and functioning of numerous different services, in addition to the teaching staff, the non-teaching staff of the Faculty also attended the ceremonial session. The rector of the University of Sarajevo also attended the ceremonial session.
The attendees were addressed by Prof. Dr. Nusret Drešković, Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, University Rector and Prof. Dr. Elvedin Hasović, Vice Dean for Teaching and Research.
It is evident from the submitted report that the Faculty continued and slightly intensified its achievements in all areas of its activity. The results are particularly visible through the intensified process of infrastructural equipping, equipment procurement and general improvement of the potential for scientific teaching and scientific research work. The Faculty has made special progress in the implementation of various domestic and international scientific research projects, which significantly improved the basis for acquiring equipment and new scientific and professional knowledge, as well as improving the Faculty's financial income.
