Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra Concert as an homage to maestro Miroslav Homen

Last night, the Sarajevo National Philharmonic organized a concert in memory of the character and work of maestro Miroslav Homen (1940-2021), longtime guest conductor, director and friend of this orchestra, and a respected cultural worker in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

The program of the concert, performed by the Sarajevo Philharmonic under the baton of conductor Maestro Robert Homen, opened with the Overture "Hebrides", Op. 26 by Felix Mendelssohn, after which the interpretation of the Piano Concerto no. 5Ludwig van Beethoven, better known as "Imperial", was presented by the pianist of the younger generation Zlatan Božuta. In the second part of the concert, Symphony no. 1 Johannes Brahms.
