The Round Table "Activism and Education in the Protection of Human Rights" was held at the UNSA Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies
Organized by the Association of Criminologists, Criminologists and Security Managers, in partnership with the UNSA Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies, and with the support of the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 22/05/2024 an event “Activism and education in the protection of human rights” was held at the Faculty. The Dean, Prof. Dr. Jasmin Ahić, President of the KKMS Association Mirela Mujović, MA and Minister of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton Admir Katica delivered opening remarks.
As part of the panel “Human rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina - current situation and trends,” the panelists included Prof. Dr. Lada Sadiković, Lana Prlić, Admir Katica, Mirela Mujović and Nijaz Memić, and the panel was moderated by Assoc. Dr. Safet Mušić. As part of the panel “The Role of Youth in the Struggle for Human Rights,” the panelists were activists and representatives of the NGO sector - Anesa Agović, Eldar Abaz, Riad Idrizović, as well as FKKSS students and other guests who participated in the fruitful discussion. We would like to thank all today's panelists, guests, and students of the Faculty of Criminology, Criminology and Security Studies who made a significant contribution to today's gathering, which our alumni and the Faculty realized as part of the “Youth - Defenders of Human Rights” project.
