Project "FILM: MY PEACE AND FREEDOM" completed

On Tuesday, December 7, the FILM: MY PEACE AND FREEDOM project, organized by the Association of Film Workers, ended with the award ceremony.

The jury consisting of professor Amra Bakšić Čamo, professor Predrag Solomun and professor Faruk Lončarević awarded the project BICYCLE.

BICYCLE is a project of director Sara Ristić and screenwriter Ismira Mašić from the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, and the producer of the project is Marijana Gudelj from the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka.

Students of the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo and the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka participated in the project. Students divided into 11 teams developed projects with their mentors at online workshops in October and live workshops held in Sarajevo in December. In addition to working with mentors, students attended Master Classes of some of the greatest film experts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and one of the main goals of this project was to achieve strong cooperation between different film schools in BiH, and promote and support young filmmakers. Project mentors were the director of the Film Center Ines Tanović, director Nermin Hamzagić, Prof. Dr. Elma Tataragić and Prof. Mr. Goran Dujaković, and the pitch trainers with whom the teams practiced presenting their projects were producer Armin Hadžić and film theorist and historian Nebojša Jovanović
