The National Day of Awareness of Libraries in B& H2018 UNSA will also be featured in the kindergartens of the Sarajevo Children's Hospital

The University of Sarajevo as one of the partners in the ERASMUS + Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project - Library Network Support Services (LNSS): Modernizing Libraries in Western Balkan Countries through Staff Development and Reforming Library Services signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Djeca Sarajeva Institution. The signing of a Memorandum as a marking of the National Day of Knowledge on Libraries in Bosnia and Herzegovina is also one of the project activities.

The goal of the Day is to remind citizens and citizens of the importance of the library's participation in building a knowledge society. On 7 September 2018, partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina will participate in the promotion of their services by providing citizens with various educational facilities (promotions, poetry, round tables, exhibitions, etc.).

This year, our target group is the youngest, and one of the specific goals is to raise awareness of the importance of libraries in the earliest education. JU Djeca Sarajeva has been recognized as the strongest partner of this year in organizing this national day.

The National Day of Knowledge on Libraries will be celebrated in 31 departments of this institution through activities involving visual and stage performance.
