“International Conference on Human Innovations in Education prof. dr. Ibrahim Arnautovic”
Organized by the University of Sarajevo - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and EVA (Eco Veg Animals) Association, in the period from 12 to 13 November 2021, the International Conference on Human Innovations in the Education of Prof. dr. Ibrahim Arnautovic ". The conference was officially opened by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. dr. Nejra Hadžimusic and the president of the EVA association, Maida Sabeta. The focus of the conference was topics related to the development and use of various innovations and alternatives in biomedical and medical education, especially in terms of the use of 3D digital technologies, some of which developed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Panelists on both days of the conference were eminent professors and researchers from different parts of the world (USA, UK, Austria, Croatia, Macedonia, Egypt, India, New Zealand, BiH).
During the conference in front of the Foundation Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Arnautović and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine were awarded a plaque and a scholarship for the best achievement in the subject Anatomy of Domestic Animals for the academic year 2020/21. This year, student Ajla (Sabahudin) Bešić was awarded with a total of 98 points and a general average of 9.75. The plaque was presented to this year's laureate by the vice dean prof. dr. Rizah Avdić, and the monetary award, scholarship in the amount of 400.00 KM on behalf of the foundation was handed over by prof. dr. Kenan Arnautovic. Also on this occasion, Prof. Dr. Faruk Čaklovica, who reminded us of the value and importance of the contribution of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Arnautovic in education, both in our country and abroad.
Although the conference was held in a hybrid form due to preventive measures, the response was more than satisfactory. Participants, about 40 in the hall and over 200 online showed great interest in activities related to the development and use of alternatives and modern technologies in education. The conference ended with an interactive exhibition that presented some of the latest technologies and alternatives used today in human and veterinary medical education. Exhibitors, InteNICHE (UK, London), Biomedical Research Center (Austria, Graz), FabLab (BiH, Sarajevo), EVA (Eco Veg Animals) and the University of Sarajevo - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine allowed all participants to actively participate in testing them.
