A freshman class held at the Faculty of Administration, University of Sarajevo
With the distribution of grade books to the 16th generation of freshmen, the new academic 2020/2021 officially began at the Faculty of Administration, University of Sarajevo. At the very beginning of the Freshman Hour, Dean, Doz. Dr. Emir Tahirović greeted attendees and wished them a successful start of their studies.
“The greatest experts in the field of administration teach at this faculty. I sincerely hope that this faculty will meet your expectations ,“ said Dean Tahirović.
Vice Dean for Teaching and Student Standard, Doz. Dr. Đevad Šašić as well as the assistant Mr. Sc. Amar Kozadra reminded the students that classes will be conducted online through the Teams app.
Doz. Dr. Amel Delić, Vice Dean for Science and International Cooperation, pointed out that the Faculty is the publisher of the magazine “Management” and about twenty scientific and professional books that he hopes will be useful to new students.
Doz. Dr. Ermin Kuka emphasized the importance of students' presence in online classes as well as fulfilling other teaching obligations.
The Faculty of Administration of the University of Sarajevo realizes scientific and research work as a pillar of sustainable development of Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on the transfer of knowledge and skills and academic mobility and exchange.
This year, the Faculty of Administration of the University of Sarajevo became a member of NISPAcee (Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe). NISPAceeNISPAcee is one of the largest European associations of schools and institutes of public administration, founded in 1994, it was announced on the website of the University of Sarajevo.
NISPAcee has made a significant contribution to the development of national and regional public and local government practices in Central and Eastern Europe. By bringing together the best experts in the field of public administration and public policy, NISPAcee has enabled the creation of an academic network and the encouragement of cooperation for the transfer of best practices related to public administration.
