Films by Academy of Performing Arts teachers and students at the Festival of Bosnian Film in New York

The Bosnian Film Festival will be held in New York from 27 October to 1 November this year. The festival, which normally takes place in April, has been moved to online this year.

The festival traditionally screens the most successful films from BiH and Bosnian authors in general, and this year will be screened two films made as part of the teaching process at the UNSA Academy of Performing Arts. Those films are ŠMRK directed by Alen Šimić and GOMILA MATERIJALA directed by Sajra Subašić. In addition, two feature films by our teachers are part of this year's selection. Senior assistant Nermin Hamzagić will present his debut PUN MJESEC, and the multi-award winning film written by full professor Elma Tataragić ŠAVOVI will also be shown. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the festival.
